VENUE ANNOUNCEMENT/ROSTER UPDATE!

We are excited to announce some big news!

Uhhh...big what now? ...I'm sorry...I just woke up.
The venues for Richard Dreyfest 2013 are as follows:

Friday, August 2nd: Discontent Billings, Yellowstone Valley Brewing Co., and NOVA Center for the Performing Arts (formerly Venture Theatre)

Saturday, August 3rd: Harper and Madison, Tumbleweed Runaway Program, and the Yellowstone Art Museum

Want to know which artists are playing which venue on which day?? The schedule will be posted soon. And that brings us to “big news” number two:

Unfortunately, some bands have dropped out. Bozeman’s Panther Car and Minneapolis’s Serenghetto and Billings's The Sweets won’t be attending (we hope you can make it next year!). However, we have some new additions to the lineup:

The DAMN Union (Mesilla, NM)

Katy Kemmick (Billings, MT)

PD Lear (Missoula, MT)

Halfway Killed (Billings, MT/San Francisco, CA)

Grunt (Missoula, MT)

Into Orbit (Billings, MT)

The Miller Lite Band (Billings, MT)

And to clear up any confusion, for those who may have heard Richard Tryfest 2013 #2 and thought that more hip hop artists had been added to the lineup, the tracks by Stormy Knight, Jamz Dean, S.K./Prodiga1/Kaetlyn Anne, and Floyd Simmons/Mattz can all be viewed under the banner of Poetic Intelligence, Billings’ hiphop collective (who have been on the bill from the get-go).

Stay tuned, folks- there’s lots of exciting
news and more interviews to come!
